Jordan Crane has been a member of the Native Council since 1992. His first position working within the Native Council of Prince Edward Island was as a summer student working on the Midgell River Enhancement project. After graduating from Morell Regional High School in 1994, Jordan went to work as the Supervisor of the Midgell River Enhancement Project. In 1998 he became the Fisheries Coordinator for the Native Council of Prince Edward Island.
In 2007 the Native Council of Prince Edward Island formed the Kelewatl Natural life Harvesting Commission where Jordan is now presently the Commissioner. Jordan is also President of L'nu Fisheries Limited the Aboriginal Communal Commercial Fishing Entity of the Native Council of Prince Edward Island. He represents the Organization on numerous Species Advisory Committees on a Federal and Provincial level, He is also involved with PEI Atlantic Salmon Advisory Committee, Morell River Management Coop, Abegweit Pow Wow Committee and works with Species At Risk projects. Jordan volunteers his time at the annual Abegweit Pow Wow each year as well as at other NCPEI functions and events.
Jordan presently resides in the community of Bristol with his family. Jordan is both an active hunter and fisher and brings many years of valuable experience to the Organization.
