Community Engagement

NCPEI’s Community Engagement Coordinator (CEC) provides training, support, and assistance to Program/Project Coordinators to work towards the development of individualized program/project recruitment, participation, engagement, and retention strategies based on their workplans.

The CEC will also attend program events to meet with members for the purpose of discovering their particular needs and/or barriers to participation. Each of NCPEI’s three zones are very different from one another when it comes to membership interest, challenges, and engagement levels and the CEC will help Program/Project Coordinators adjust to accommodate for these differences. 

The CEC will also work with NCPEI’s Promotion Coordinator to develop an effective social media campaign to advertise events and activities along with a media campaign for those members who don’t have access to or use the internet.
