This is a nice tasting recipe taken from Joanie's Country **** book.
Prep Time: 5 min
**** Time: 40 min or until tender
|Tbsp butter or margarine||6|
|Tbsp honey or maple syrup||3|
|Pepper to taste|
- Wash and dice turnips, potatoes and carrots. Place in a large saucepan.
- Add about 2" of water and salt, Boil about 40 min or until vegetables are tender.
- Drain and mash well, Add butter, nutmeg and pepper. Beat until butter and honey are melted and all is smooth. Serve
